About
Sónia Santos is a Professora Adjunta at the Instituto Politécnico de Setúbal Escola Superior de Tecnologia do Barreiro, Portugal. Her research interests focus on ecosystem services, biodiversity, and the biological control of pests, as evidenced by her recent publications on topics such as the effectiveness of Torymus sinensis in managing the chestnut gall wasp and the impact of bat diversity on pest predation. She also studies the interactions between agricultural landscapes and native insect communities, particularly in relation to vineyards and olive groves.
