Two fully funded PhD graduate student positions are available for a Fall 2026 start at Tennessee State University in the area of plant biotechnology . The first project is in the Roy Lab and focuses on Medicago molecular genetics . This is a 4-year PhD research project and is best suited to candidates with a background in plant molecular genetics , plant biology , or closely related areas. The second project is in Suping Zhou’s lab and focuses on tomato gene editing .
