Postdoctoral Fellow in Wastewater Treatment, Emerging Contaminants, and Electrochemical Technologies at IIT Delhi

Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) position available in the Waste2Wealth (W2W) Research Group at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi . The position is centered on wastewater treatment , emerging contaminants , electrochemical technologies , bioelectrochemical systems , resource recovery from waste , environmental sustainability , and field-scale environmental systems . The group appears to work on practical, applied environmental engineering problems with strong emphasis on onsite work and real-world implementation. Eligibility/preferences: candidates with a submitted or defended PhD thesis are eligible for the fellowship levels listed. Preference will be given to applicants with strong onsite and field experience, prior research in emerging contaminants and/or electrochemistry, and the ability to work independently on practical research challenges. Funding: ₹42,000/month + 30% HRA (consolidated ₹54,600) for candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis; ₹58,000/month + 30% HRA (consolidated ₹75,400) for candidates who have successfully defended their PhD thesis. Work expectations: the role may involve field visits, onsite sampling, irregular hours, weekend work, travel, and experimental responsibilities depending on project needs.
