Postdoctoral Fellow (PDF) position available in the Waste2Wealth (W2W) Research Group at Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.

The position is centered on wastewater treatment, emerging contaminants, electrochemical technologies, bioelectrochemical systems, resource recovery from waste, environmental sustainability, and field-scale environmental systems. The group appears to work on practical, applied environmental engineering problems with strong emphasis on onsite work and real-world implementation.

Eligibility/preferences: candidates with a submitted or defended PhD thesis are eligible for the fellowship levels listed. Preference will be given to applicants with strong onsite and field experience, prior research in emerging contaminants and/or electrochemistry, and the ability to work independently on practical research challenges.

Funding: ₹42,000/month + 30% HRA (consolidated ₹54,600) for candidates who have submitted their PhD thesis; ₹58,000/month + 30% HRA (consolidated ₹75,400) for candidates who have successfully defended their PhD thesis. Campus accommodation is not provided.

Work expectations: the role may involve field visits, onsite sampling, irregular hours, weekend work, travel, and experimental responsibilities depending on project needs.
