Soyoung Shin is an Assistant Professor at Sungshin Women's University in South Korea. Her research focuses on mental health nursing, exploring topics such as nurses’ experiences with patients receiving electroconvulsive therapy and the involvement of service users in nursing education. Recent studies include qualitative investigations into the experiences of individuals living with schizophrenia and parents dealing with loss, as well as innovative health interventions for patients with cardiac devices.
