Two fully funded PhD opportunities are available in Structural Engineering at Adelaide University in Australia. The project is part of an Australian Research Council (ARC) Linkage collaboration with Forty Frame Technology Pty Ltd , focusing on the experimental and numerical development of fibre-reinforced polymer (FRP) profiles and structural systems. This is a strong fit for candidates interested in Civil Engineering , Materials Science , structural mechanics, composite materials, experimental testing, and finite element modelling. The opportunity is designed to provide application-driven research experience and close industry engagement, with exposure to translational research outcomes. Applicants should have a strong background in structural engineering and finite element modelling, along with an excellent academic and research record.
