Eindhoven University of Technology is offering a PhD position in Supramolecular Interactions in Organic Mixed Ionic-Electronic Conductors (OMIECs) . The project investigates how molecular-scale supramolecular interactions influence the real-world performance of functional materials. The research will examine the interplay between supramolecular interactions and electrochemical doping in OMIECs, with the goal of understanding the underlying mechanisms during operation. The PhD researcher will use operando characterization and functional materials characterization techniques, including spectroscopy and electrochemistry. The project connects supramolecular chemistry, organic semiconductors, electrochemical doping, and materials science. The group is seeking an enthusiastic, self-motivated researcher with a background in functional materials characterization. Experience with organic semiconductors, supramolecular chemistry, or operando characterization is highly valued.
