About this position
This scholarship from Alcobaça Municipality (Câmara Municipal de Alcobaça) supports students living in Alcobaça who are studying at a higher education institution. It is a municipal student grant aimed at easing study costs across TeSP, bachelor's and master's level programmes.
The award is calculated individually according to household income and is paid as a monthly grant across the academic year. For the 2026/2027 cycle, the municipality has set aside funding for 260 grants, making this a substantial local support scheme for eligible residents.
The scholarship is open to students in any field of study, so it is designed as broad financial support rather than a subject-specific award. It is intended for students who are already enrolled, or planning to enrol, in higher education while remaining based in the Alcobaça municipality.
The advertised opening is therefore primarily a community-based funding opportunity for local students at TeSP, licenciatura, and mestrado level, with selection tied to residence, study status, and financial need.
