About this position

The EBI–Sanger Postdoctoral (ESPOD) Programme is a collaborative fellowship scheme linking EMBL-EBI and the Wellcome Sanger Institute on the Wellcome Genome Campus in Hinxton near Cambridge. It supports postdoctoral researchers working across both institutes in projects that deliberately combine experimental wet-lab research with computational dry-lab analysis.

Fellows can propose their own research ideas, building a project around one group at each institute, or select from a list of projects offered at the start of each call. The programme is designed to take advantage of the proximity of the two institutes and the close collaboration between them, giving researchers access to scientific expertise, well-equipped facilities, and an active seminar programme.

This is a cross-institutional research environment for scientists interested in integrative life-science projects that bridge experiments and computation.
