About this position
Fondation FondaMental – Laboratoire Lilly Master grant supports a 6-month Master’s research placement in psychiatry focused on severe mental illness and neurodevelopmental disorders.
The scholarship funds research projects on conditions such as depression, bipolar disorder, suicidal behaviour, schizophrenia and autism. Projects may address the causes and mechanisms of disease, epidemiology and health economics, or clinical and therapeutic innovation, including diagnostic tools and medical devices.
This is a laboratory-led award: the funding is awarded to the host research laboratory rather than paid directly to the student, and the lab takes on the intern only after funding is approved. The programme is run in France by Fondation FondaMental in partnership with Eli Lilly (Laboratoire Lilly).
Eligible projects are those supervised within the FondaMental Alliance network, with selection based on scientific quality, feasibility, supervision quality, and the supervisor’s publication record. Up to three grants are awarded each year, making this a selective but focused opportunity for psychiatry-related Master’s research.
