Digital Finance CRC

Digital Finance CRC is inviting PhD students from Curtin University and The University of Western Australia to apply for the DFCRC HDR Showcase 2026. This is a student-oriented opportunity for researchers working in digital finance, finance, and related areas to present their work to a DFCRC panel and be considered for support.

Eligible applicants are currently enrolled PhD students whose research aligns with DFCRC’s digital finance priorities. Domestic and international students at any stage of candidature may apply, including those already part-way through their PhD. Applicants should prepare a CV, a research proposal (maximum 4 pages), proof of primary scholarship if applicable, and a brief supervisor supporting statement.

The showcase offers several outcomes: a PhD Top-Up Scholarship of $15,000 per year renewable for up to 3.5 years, a Research Seed Grant for self-funded PhD students, or entry to the DFCRC Affiliated Student Program, which includes research travel grants plus access to events and masterclasses.

The application deadline is 5 June 2026, and shortlisted applicants will present at the online showcase event on 23 June 2026. Students are advised to download the Guide to DFCRC Research Agenda to check how their research fits the criteria before applying.
