About this position
Research Council of Norway Researcher Project for Young Talents is a funding opportunity for early-career researchers who want to develop and lead their own research project.
The scheme is open across all disciplines and research areas, and is designed for talented young researchers under the age of 40 who are 2–7 years after the defence of an approved doctorate. The emphasis is on strong scientific quality and on giving applicants the opportunity to pursue their own research ideas as project leaders.
This is a competitive research funding call from the Research Council of Norway rather than a fixed PhD project. Successful applicants receive support to carry out a self-directed research project with project costs covered within the award structure.
The call is aimed at building independent research careers across the full range of fields supported by the Research Council.
