About this position
This postdoctoral position at Cardinal Stefan Wyszynski University in Warsaw is part of a chemical sciences project focused on the preparation of functional and cross-linking monomers for molecularly imprinted polymer layers. The successful researcher will work on synthesizing, purifying, and characterizing organic compounds that support the development of these polymer systems, with an emphasis on experimental chemistry and method development.
The role involves developing and optimizing synthesis and purification procedures, then carrying out structural, spectroscopic, and electrochemical characterization of the obtained monomers. The work also includes processing and interpreting experimental data, maintaining laboratory documentation, preparing result summaries, and contributing to scientific publications, conference presentations, and project reports.
The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate closely with members of the UKSW research team and consortium partners, contributing to a broader research effort in applied chemistry and functional materials. The advertised environment is laboratory-based and project-oriented, with emphasis on independent experimental work, careful record keeping, and active scientific cooperation.
