About this position

The Aston Institute for Membrane Excellence at Aston University is inviting applications for multiple fully funded PhD positions starting in 2026. These projects are at the forefront of innovation in both the physical and life sciences, offering students the chance to contribute to impactful research with real-world applications.

All positions are fully funded, covering tuition fees and providing a stipend for living expenses. Applicants should hold or expect to obtain a strong undergraduate degree in a relevant field such as chemistry, materials science, biology, or biomedical engineering. Additional skills may be required for specific projects, such as laboratory experience, computational skills, or familiarity with AI tools. English language proficiency is required as per Aston University standards.
