PhD opportunity in Clinical Chemistry, Molecular Biology, Cancer Biology, and Vascular Biology at the Institute of Clinical Chemistry, University Hospital Heidelberg / Heidelberg University medical environment in Germany.

The project focuses on how endothelial cells and blood vessels influence the immune response and cancer progression, with research on the tumor microenvironment, angiocrine signaling, immune and stromal cell crosstalk, and data integration from modern cell biology, molecular biology, and OMICS approaches. Bioinformatic analysis is also part of the work.

Eligibility: a Master's degree in biology, biochemistry, or a related field. Prior experimental experience in molecular biology, vascular biology, immunology, or cancer biology is preferred. Strong English skills, scientific curiosity, commitment, and teamwork are required.

Funding: fixed-term PhD employment for 3 years with an option to extend, at 65% position, paid according to TV-L with public service pension benefits.
