About this position
This postdoctoral project is based in the G2L team within the PGNM laboratory at Inserm and contributes to an ANR-funded research programme under the PEPR Med-OoC call.
The project focuses on building standardized human neuromuscular models derived from hPSC and integrated with microfluidic chips. The aim is to improve diagnostic precision while reducing reliance on animal models.
The appointed researcher will work on CRISPR/Cas9 engineering of reporter hPSC lines specific to neuronal and muscle tissues, then help develop protocols with PEPR partners for generating neuromuscular organoids. The role also includes establishing culture methods for neuronal and muscle cells and organoids in microfluidic platforms, as well as developing analysis tools suited to these complex 2D and 3D culture systems.
A final objective is to create an assay based on the newly established models to investigate the pathology of autoimmune myasthenia.
