About this position
The Alinari Lab at The Ohio State University’s Comprehensive Cancer Center is recruiting a postdoctoral scholar to study lymphoma and develop therapeutic strategies that trigger potent immunogenic cell death. The position is embedded in a major academic cancer center and is designed for a researcher who wants to contribute to translational cancer immunology work.
The project brings together a broad set of experimental approaches spanning molecular biology, immune-cell engineering, and functional cancer research. The scholar will work with protein, DNA and RNA isolation, Western blotting, immunoprecipitation, PCR, CRISPR-Cas9 gene editing, lentiviral transduction, spectral flow cytometry, cell sorting, mammalian and primary cell culture, human blood processing, bacterial transformation and plasmid work, and data analysis. The role also includes participation in animal studies, tissue harvesting, imaging, manuscript preparation, protocol development, training others, troubleshooting assays, and maintaining laboratory resources.
This is a hands-on research opportunity within the Comprehensive Cancer Center at OSU, with work focused on lymphoma biology and immune-based therapeutic strategies under the direction of the Alinari Lab.
