About this position
AICell Lab at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, within the Department of Applied Physics and Science for Life Laboratory, is recruiting a postdoctoral researcher to help develop AI systems for data-driven cell and molecular biology.
The project is centered on AI agents and collaborative AI systems for life science. The postdoc will work on building and evaluating AI-powered research assistants and multi-agent systems that support scientific workflows, connect researchers with relevant expertise and infrastructure, and enable interdisciplinary collaboration. The work also contributes to a European Union-supported initiative focused on access to research infrastructures, especially within the Euro-BioImaging network, while extending toward broader AI-driven scientific discovery applications.
The role combines independent research with project coordination and scientific communication. The postdoctoral researcher will collaborate closely with researchers, engineers, and European research infrastructure partners in a young and ambitious research environment. The group is led by Wei Ouyang and is part of a research setting that links KTH with Science for Life Laboratory and international collaborators in Europe and the US.
