Research tasks include experimental work in murine models, brain tissue collection and processing, anatomical analysis of hypothalamic regions, molecular/histological/epigenetic profiling, and analysis of high-dimensional sequencing data such as RNA-seq, single-cell/single-nucleus sequencing, ATAC-seq, and/or ChIP-seq. The role also involves independent project development, collaboration within Helmholtz Munich and the DZD network, and dissemination through publications and conferences.
Eligibility highlights: PhD in neuroscience, molecular biology, physiology, biochemistry, bioinformatics, or a related field; strong research experience; experience with sequencing data analysis; excellent English; and desirable experience with mouse models, neuroanatomy, hypothalamic/neuroendocrine research, immunohistochemistry, RNAscope/in situ hybridization, metabolic phenotyping, spatial molecular methods, and single-cell/single-nucleus genomics or epigenomics.
