About this position

Several postdoctoral positions are available in quantum information theory at PhIQuS, Inria Saclay, within a new INRIA team located in Saclay near Paris.

The group is recruiting in a broad set of research directions, including quantum distributed computing, quantum correlations, quantum nonlocality, entanglement, fermionic quantum information, quantum foundations, and mathematical physics (notably noncommutative polynomial optimisation and C* algebras). More generally, applicants from all areas of quantum information theory are encouraged to apply.

These positions are funded by the PI's ERC Starting Grant QINF and by the QuantERA project Quantum Network Algorithms (QNA, 2026–2029). The postdoc projects will be tailored to the selected candidate's expertise, and the team expects opportunities for collaboration with researchers in Paris and internationally.

Eligibility / profile: applicants should have relevant expertise in one or more of the advertised quantum information and mathematical physics topics. The post does not list additional formal requirements.

Deadline: 2026-11-30.

How to apply: email [email protected] to discuss joining the group. You can also review the employer job page for more details.
