About this position
Technical University of Denmark (DTU), Department of Civil and Mechanical Engineering / DTU Construct, is offering a Postdoc (Project Manager) position in multimaterial additive manufacturing within the Horizon Europe Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network MultiMAM (Multi-Material Additive Manufacturing).
The role combines research and research management in a major European collaboration spanning more than 25 participating organisations across academia and industry. The successful candidate will support doctoral candidates, coordinate activities across the consortium, help with technology validation and exploitation, contribute to dissemination and communication, and assist with project deliverables, reporting, and milestone monitoring. The position also includes participation in network-wide teaching and training activities.
MultiMAM focuses on accelerating the industrial adoption of multimaterial additive manufacturing by addressing scientific and technical challenges across the value chain: materials, processes, and sustainability. The project aims to close knowledge gaps, develop industrial guidelines and standards, and train 15 Doctoral Candidates in an international, intersectoral, and diversity-driven environment. The project combines strengths from 10 EU countries and places emphasis on open science, diversity, and workplace safety.
Eligibility highlights: applicants should have a PhD (or equivalent) in Engineering, preferably in Additive Manufacturing, Multimaterial Processing, or Advanced Manufacturing Technology. Experience managing complex collaborative projects is expected, along with strong organization, communication, independence, stakeholder management, and excellent English. Desirable experience includes EU-funded projects, research and innovation project management, and project management tools/platforms.
Employment conditions: the appointment is for 36 months, full-time, with salary and terms according to the Danish collective agreement and DTU salary structure. Starting date is 1 February 2027, or by mutual agreement. The workplace is DTU Construct in Copenhagen, Denmark.
