About this position
Boston University’s Zhang Lab in the Section of Computational Biomedicine at the Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine is seeking multiple Postdoctoral Associates in Computational Biology. The lab studies immuno-oncology, kidney disease, and aging through computational and bioinformatics approaches.
Postdoctoral researchers will lead the development of novel methods and integrate diverse high-throughput biological, omics, and biomedical imaging data generated by the lab and its collaborators. The work combines deep learning and advanced mathematical modeling with functional genomics analysis at single-cell and population levels, as well as analysis of large pathological imaging and spatial transcriptomics cohorts.
Potential research directions include microbiome and metagenomics, biomedical imaging, multimodal molecular and imaging data integration, and computational modeling. Researchers will contribute to manuscripts and scientific reports while working in an interdisciplinary environment focused on innovative computational methods and important biological and biomedical questions.
