About this position
The Department of Biological Systems Engineering at Virginia Tech is seeking a Postdoctoral Associate to contribute to a project on engineering non-viral gene delivery systems. The research focuses on designing nanoformulations or devices that can improve the efficacy and safety of biologically active drugs and gene therapies.
The selected researcher will work with Dr. Wujin Sun and a team of researchers at Virginia Tech. Core project activities include nanocarrier formulation, nucleic acid construct preparation, and delivery efficiency optimization. The role is centered on building and evaluating delivery platforms for advanced therapeutic applications.
This position is based in the Department of Biological Systems Engineering within Virginia Tech’s research environment in Blacksburg. The project sits at the intersection of bioengineering, molecular delivery, and nano-enabled therapeutic systems, offering the opportunity to contribute to translational research on gene and drug delivery technologies.
