About this position

Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) is recruiting a Postdoctoral Fellow in Computational Immuno-Oncology and Immune-Related Adverse Events within the Reznik Laboratory and MSK’s Computational Oncology Service.

The project sits at the intersection of cancer genomics, systemic physiology, and immuno-oncology, using large-scale multimodal datasets to study immune toxicity from cancer immunotherapy. The fellow will help define, predict, and understand immune-related adverse events, including differences between single-organ and multisystem toxicity, by integrating longitudinal clinical text, germline genetics, treatment exposures, laboratory measurements, and patient outcomes.

Research directions may include natural language processing, large language models, computational phenotyping, GWAS, HLA, polygenic risk, germline genomics, and multimodal predictive modeling. The role is highly collaborative and involves working with computational scientists, geneticists, oncologists, immunologists, and clinicians.

Eligibility highlights: a PhD completed or nearing completion in a computational or quantitative field such as computational biology, bioinformatics, computer science, biomedical informatics, statistical genetics, biostatistics, statistics, engineering, or a related discipline. Applicants should have expertise in at least one relevant area and strong quantitative, reproducible research, writing, and communication skills.

Funding: salary/pay range is listed as 72,000–75,000 USD.

Location: New York City, New York, United States.

Deadline: 27 Dec 2026.

How to apply: submit a CV, letter of interest, and references through the application process. The named contacts are Ziad El Bakouny and Ed Reznik at MSK.
