About this position
This two-year postdoctoral position is based at the Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay, Université Paris-Saclay, within the ANR project CroCQG (Crossroads in the theory of compact quantum groups). The project is coordinated by Amaury Freslon and brings together French researchers working on compact quantum groups and related areas.
The research environment sits at the intersection of operator algebras, Hopf algebras, tensor categories, combinatorics, and noncommutative probability. Within that broader programme, the postdoctoral researcher will focus on quantum symmetries of graphs and related combinatorial structures.
Possible directions include quantum isomorphisms of graphs and how graph invariants behave under them, quantum automorphism groups of natural graph families, and quantum graphs together with their links to quantum information theory. The project is explicitly designed around these interconnected themes, and the precise programme will be set jointly with the successful candidate according to their background and interests.
The position is hosted by the Laboratoire de Mathématiques d'Orsay and connected to a wider French collaboration on compact quantum groups. More details are available on the project webpage and the linked position page.
