About this position
Postdoctoral Research Associate (Pharmacy Practice Research) at the University of Sydney’s Sydney School of Pharmacy offers an opportunity to join a nationally significant research program focused on improving healthcare outcomes through innovative pharmacy practice research.
The role sits within one of Australia’s leading centres for pharmacy education and research, with strengths in pharmaceutical sciences, pharmacy practice, medicines optimisation, and health services research. Based at the University of Sydney’s Camperdown campus, the successful candidate will work closely with the Chief Investigator and research team on an NHMRC Investigator Grant research program.
The postdoctoral researcher will contribute to the development and delivery of evidence-based interventions and stakeholder-engaged research, including co-design work with clinicians and people with lived experience. The project involves preparing ethics applications and study documentation, supporting the establishment and implementation of a randomised controlled trial, and collaborating with clinicians, researchers, stakeholders, and community participants.
The appointment is part-time and fixed-term for 12 months, and is positioned as an early career research opportunity within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment. The role also includes contribution to publications, dissemination activities, grant development, mentoring of higher degree research students and junior researchers, and support for a productive research culture within the School.
