About this position
Karlstad University is seeking a postdoctoral researcher in psychology based at the Department of Social and Psychological Studies, within the subject of psychology. The position is part of the research project “Reactivating Values”, which aims to promote behaviour change that supports circular processes for greater sustainability.
The postdoc will join a psychology environment with researchers and teachers working across research and education, and will collaborate closely with an engaged project group. The role is centered on research on how circular processes are supported in society, with an emphasis on understanding what hinders or facilitates such processes at different levels of analysis.
The advertised work includes active contribution to the academic environment, participation in seminars, development of research projects, and responsibility for key research tasks such as data collection, data processing, and preparation of scientific articles. The project addresses circularity broadly, including consumer reuse of materials and services, as well as societal and community-level processes related to sustainability and resilience.
The position offers an opportunity to work in a creative and international environment at a university that highlights collaboration, daily engagement, and mutual benefit between research and the wider community.
