Anticipated Postdoctoral Scholar opportunity at Syracuse University in the research group of Tao Wen, focused on AI for Earth and Environmental Sciences.

The project is interdisciplinary and will use artificial intelligence, machine learning, environmental data science, and large geochemical, hydrologic, geospatial, and environmental datasets to investigate energy and environmental systems, terrestrial elemental cycles, and related Earth system science questions.

Relevant backgrounds include geoscience, hydrology, geochemistry, environmental science, civil/environmental engineering, data science, computational geoscience, and related areas. Experience with AI/ML, reproducible computational workflows, Python/R, and large environmental datasets is especially valued.
