Responsibilities include conducting research, preparing journal and conference papers, technical reports, and presentations, supporting proposal development and future funding opportunities, mentoring students, and collaborating with faculty, industry, community, and other research partners.
Applicants should have a
PhD
in construction engineering, civil engineering, computer science, robotics, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, industrial engineering, data science, information science, or a closely related field. Strong experience in research related to automation, AI, robotics, sensing, digital construction, or infrastructure systems is expected. Programming and technical skills in

, or similar tools are highly desirable. The post also values strong writing, analytical, teamwork, and independent research abilities.
Funding details: the position is a
full-time
appointment with a salary of
USD 58,000–60,000
per year, depending on experience and qualifications. The role is
contingent on external funding
and is offered for a
12-month
term.
