Caroline Cruaud is an Associate Professor at the University of South-Eastern Norway. Her research focuses on the interplay of play and learning, particularly in the contexts of foreign language acquisition and nursing education. Recent articles include "The Play of Play," "Exploring facilitation in virtual simulation in nursing education: A scoping review," and "A certain degree of freedom: the challenge of learner autonomy in playful foreign language learning."
