University of Salford is offering 10 fully funded Widening Participation PhD Scholarships for UK candidates starting in September 2027 . This opportunity is aligned with research on future of work , work and wellbeing , four-day working weeks , working-time reduction , work, organisations and AI , and broader organisational change . The post is shared by Prof Daiga Kamerāde , Professor of Work & Wellbeing at the University of Salford, who says she would be interested in supervising strong proposals in these areas. The scheme is designed to support people from groups currently underrepresented in research, including first-generation and mature students , disabled applicants , people from underrepresented ethnic groups , and care-experienced or estranged students . Funding: the scholarship covers UK tuition fees , provides an annual stipend for 3.5 years , and includes a research budget . Eligibility: UK applicants only.
