fully funded PhD Candidate in Marketing
focused on
Retail Marketing
and
Quantitative Marketing
. The position is embedded in the CentER Graduate School of Business and offers a strong research environment in econometric modeling, retail and consumer behavior, digital platforms and online markets, pricing and branding strategy, and large-scale data analysis.
The PhD project is centered on quantitative retailing and marketing, with possible use of scanner data, web-scraped data, retail/platform data, and other large observational datasets. Research topics may include retail competition and pricing strategies, consumer decision-making, offline versus online retail behavior, brand manufacturers versus retailers versus platforms, and market dynamics using big data. Candidates are encouraged to develop their own research direction within this broad area.
