PhD Scholarship Opportunity at Curtin University This post announces a 2027 RTP PhD scholarship opportunity at Curtin University in Perth, Australia. The project is titled Valuing Different Ways of Learning: Inclusive Curriculum and Authentic Learning for Diverse Futures and is supervised by Professor John Williams together with Dr Jia Xu . The research focuses on inclusive curriculum , authentic learning , assessment design , learner diversity, student participation, co-creation, educational innovation, and teacher practice. Applicants may work across school, vocational, higher education, community, or cross-sector settings, and the supervisory team will help refine a focused project aligned with the candidate’s interests and expertise. Ideal applicants are motivated and reflective PhD candidates with interests in education, teacher education, psychology, curriculum studies, learning sciences, or related disciplines. Helpful experience includes educational practice, curriculum development, partnership work, qualitative and/or mixed-methods research, and community engagement. The opportunity is open to both domestic and international applicants, provided they meet Curtin University PhD enrolment requirements. Funding is described as an RTP scholarship for the preferred candidate, and the project may also include an internship or industry engagement opportunity depending on the research direction.
