Eligibility
is restricted to
female early career researchers
who completed their PhD no more than
six years
ago. The six-year period is calculated up to the month before the requested start of funding, with maternity and parental leave periods counted within that window. Applicants should be able to demonstrate strong academic qualifications and a feasible project plan.
Application deadline:
2026-09-30. Applicants must submit a complete application as a single PDF file, including the online application form, annex, hosting professorship recommendation, and any required reference/support letters. The project description should be no longer than four pages and should explain the topic, aims, work plan, competences, and why Dresden/TU Dresden is the preferred research location.
Optional online Q&A sessions are offered on 01/07, 22/07, 19/08, 02/09, and 16/09 from 1–2 p.m., with prior registration required. The fellowship is not an employment contract and does not include health insurance or other insurance coverage.
