Leanne Hides is an NHMRC Senior Research Fellow and Lives Lived Well Professor of Alcohol, Drugs & Mental Health at the University of Queensland, Australia. Her research focuses on substance use treatment, drug checking services, and mental health, as evidenced by her recent articles addressing patient-reported experiences, barriers to drug checking, and trends in cannabis use. She is also involved in systematic reviews covering tobacco smoking and alcohol use disorders in Sub-Saharan Africa, as well as the integration of trauma-informed care in treatment facilities.
