Dr. Marta Martins is an Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Sciences and Technology, University NOVA of Lisbon, Portugal. Her research areas focus on ecotoxicology, environmental risk assessment, and the impacts of pollutants such as nanoplastics and polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons on aquatic ecosystems and human health. She has published extensively on the effects of contaminants on marine organisms and the ecological quality of estuarine environments.
