The project, co-supervised by Dr Fiona Lavelle, Prof Miranda Lomer, and Prof Wendy Hall, investigates the bidirectional relationship between mental health and endometriosis, focusing on psychosocial, dietary, physical activity, and systemic determinants, as well as symptoms like pain and gastrointestinal issues. The research aims to address gaps in women’s health, inform public health and clinical guidelines, and improve support for those affected by endometriosis. The student will gain expertise in systematic reviews, data extraction and analysis of electronic health records, qualitative interviews, and e-Delphi approaches. The studentship covers full tuition fees (including international rates), a generous London-rate stipend, research training support, and travel/conference allowance.
