Torrens University Australia is inviting applications for a fully funded PhD scholarship in Public Health, Equity, and Human Flourishing at the Research Centre for Public Health, Equity and Human Flourishing (PHEHF). The centre is internationally renowned for its multidisciplinary research addressing national and global challenges in public health, equity, and social justice. The PhD project will focus on qualitative research with midlife women in alcohol-saturated regions to explore strategies for alcohol reduction and fostering hope. The centre's research spans sociology, psychology, epidemiology, nutrition, anthropology, and medicine, and aims to improve equity and human flourishing through innovative, transdisciplinary approaches. Applicants must meet the university's PhD entry requirements, including a relevant Master's or Honours degree, a research proposal, and English proficiency. The scholarship provides a tax-free living stipend of $33,511 per year for three years and a full tuition fee waiver.
