) addresses national and global cultural, environmental, economic and social challenges. TUA is inviting applications from a wide range of disciplines to pursue a PhD.
Professor Paul Ward and colleagues have been awarded an Australian Research Council (ARC) Discovery Project, which includes a PhD scholarship study attached to the grant.
This PhD will involve in-depth qualitative research with midlife women in ‘alcohol saturated’ geographical contexts (wine regions) to understand the possibilities for both alcohol reduction and hope within these social worlds.

Funding details
Full funding including tuition fees and living expenses is available for this position. The scholarship covers all educational costs and provides a monthly stipend.
