Penelope Wood is a Lecturer in Pharmacy at La Trobe University - Bendigo Campus, Australia. Her research focuses on the clinical effectiveness of opioid management, including pharmacist administration of long-acting injectable buprenorphine and the challenges surrounding opioid substitution treatment in rural settings. Recent publications address key learning statements for persistent pain education and optimizing the safe use of opioids in general practice.
