PhD studentship opportunity in Developing a Framework for a National Collection of Scottish Video Game Heritage , offered with support from the Scottish Graduate School for Arts & Humanities (SGSAH) . This is a fully funded PhD starting in October 2026 . The project is based at University of Abertay Dundee and involves collaboration with the University of Glasgow and National Museums Scotland . The research sits at the intersection of video game heritage , museum work , and the arts and humanities , with strong relevance to History , Art History , Ancient History , Classics , Archaeology , Media and Communications , Digital Media , and Information Studies . Applicants should hold a degree in a relevant arts and humanities discipline and should ideally have, or expect to receive, a Masters-level qualification in a related subject.
