Ron Fouchier

Ron Fouchier is a full professor at Erasmus University Rotterdam in the Netherlands. His research primarily focuses on the dynamics of influenza viruses, avian influenza, and emerging viral infections through the One Health approach. Recent articles reflect his work on the surveillance of swine influenza, the evaluation of NDV infection models, and the evolution of highly pathogenic avian influenza viruses.
