Sara Ronkkonen is a Senior Lecturer at Häme University of Applied Sciences in Finland. Her research areas include the interplay of self-criticism, burnout, and self-compassion in academic achievement, as well as the role of social support in career transitions for STEM PhD holders. Additionally, she explores the impact of supervisory and research community support on PhD candidates' research engagement and contrasts study burnout profiles and social support between domestic and international master's degree students.
