Open PhD position at the University of Lucerne in a project on assistive technology for people with spinal cord injury . The project focuses on understanding the use, cost-benefits, and gaps in assistive technology for daily living, with the broader aim of identifying targets for the development of future technologies in this field. This is a 100% PhD position for three years and is funded by the Research Commission of Schweizer Paraplegiker-Stiftung . The successful candidate will work with Sara Rubinelli’s team and co-applicant scientists including Carla Sabariego , Robert Riener , Diana Pacheco Barzallo , and Björn Zörner . Relevant academic interests include medical science , public health , biomedical engineering , and related research on rehabilitation, disability, and technology evaluation.
