Postdoc opportunity in Robotics at the University of Waterloo, Canada The Active & Interactive Robotics Lab (AIR Lab), led by Assistant Professor Yue Hu at the University of Waterloo, is hiring a postdoctoral researcher to work on a collaboration project with industry partners. The research focus is robot learning for complex manipulation tasks in manufacturing using cobot arms . This position is a strong fit for candidates with a background in robot control , machine learning , deep learning , and reinforcement learning applied to robotic systems. Helpful but non-mandatory experience includes computer vision , image processing , sensor fusion , state estimation , teleoperation , and human-robot collaboration . Eligibility highlights: applicants must have completed a PhD in Robotics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field by the start date.
