Estonian Scholarship Programme

Applications are open for the Estonia 2026 Summer School Scholarship for international BA, MA, and PhD students. This is a short-term funded study opportunity in Estonia for students who want to take part in selected summer courses at Estonian higher education institutions.

The scholarship is offered under the Estonian Scholarship Programme and supports participation in summer schools connected to areas such as language studies, information technology, media, international relations, business, design, biology, AI, digital innovation, and interdisciplinary studies. Example courses mentioned include Hands On Data Engineering, Synthetic Biology and Its Applications, Designing Social Robots Summer School 2026, Gamification Workshop, Design of Serious Games, Storytelling in Marketing, AI Summer School, Digital Innovation, and Digitalisation and Sustainability.

Funding includes course fees of up to €700 for one course per applicant and accommodation support of up to €25 per night for a maximum of four weeks. The funding is transferred to the host university, which either provides accommodation or pays the accommodation-related amount to the student.

Eligibility highlights: applicants must be enrolled at a higher education institution abroad and must have studied there for at least one year by the time of application. Pre-registration for the selected course is required before applying for the scholarship. The 2026 round does not accept applications from citizens of the Russian Federation or Belarus.
