About this position
Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam is seeking multiple bachelor thesis supervisors in Psychology for the Department of Clinical, Neuro- & Developmental Psychology within the Faculty of Behavioural and Movement Sciences.
The supervisors will guide small groups of bachelor students through their thesis projects. The work includes helping students develop research questions, select appropriate study designs and prepare research proposals, as well as supporting data analysis and interpretation of results. Supervisors will provide written and oral feedback on proposals and thesis drafts, assess completed theses, and monitor academic integrity, including the faculty’s guidance on the use of generative AI tools.
The role is connected to the Psychology programme and the Psychopathology, Health & Prevention international track. It offers an opportunity to contribute to research-oriented psychology education in a multidisciplinary faculty covering behaviour, health, movement sciences and education. Supervisors will work within VU Amsterdam’s academically engaged and socially oriented community in Amsterdam, collaborating with colleagues and supporting students as they develop scientific writing, research-design and quantitative data-analysis skills.
