Dr Ye Li and I are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical/Civil engineering student to join the Mechatronics and Civil engineering research groups at the University of Southampton for an exciting PhD opportunity: Ultrasonic Drilling for Minimally Invasive Assessment of Inhomogeneous Damage in Degraded Concrete

You will develop multi-sensor ultrasonic drilling tools to detect subsurface damages in degraded concrete materials in underwater/marine or post-fire extreme environments.
