About this position
Three PhD positions
I am looking to hire three PhD positions for a project funded by the Swiss National Science Foundation SNSF. The project entitled Geophysics-assisted Rare Event Estimation in Changing Environments (GREECE) is interdisciplinary in nature and includes project partners (marco dentz, David Ginsbourger, Thomas Keller, Stefano Marelli, Gregoire Mariethoz, Dani Or, Nadav Peleg, Haruko Wainwright) with strong complementary expertise in hydrology, climate science, data science and statistics. Successful applicants are expected to have a MSc degree in geophysics, hydrology, physics, statistics, data science or engineering.
