About this position
Postdoctoral position at Aarhus University in the Department of Chemistry and the Danish Center for Ultrahigh-Field NMR Spectroscopy.
The project focuses on modelling of solid-state NMR experiments, with a strong emphasis on developing and extending the EasyNMR web-based platform for data processing, analysis, and simulation. The work is especially relevant to research in food systems, materials science, catalysis, and related NMR applications, while aiming to remain domain agnostic.
The successful candidate will contribute to algorithm development, web-platform integration, and analysis tools for solid-state NMR experiments, and should also be able to participate in running experiments. The lab environment includes advanced NMR infrastructure and a broad research setting spanning liquid-state NMR, MAS solid-state NMR, HR-MAS, pulse sequence development, low-field NMR, high-pressure NMR, and imaging.
Eligibility highlights: a PhD in NMR spectroscopy or a similar field, experience in solid-state NMR, programming skills preferably in dynamic web programming, scientific excellence, and strong collaborative and communication skills.
Funding and terms: this is a three-year fixed-term full-time postdoc position. Salary depends on seniority under the Danish collective labour agreement; tax reduction schemes for researchers may apply.
Deadline: applications must be submitted by 15 August 2026 at 23:59 CEST. Applications must be in English and include a CV, degree certificate, publication list, future research plan, research activity information, teaching portfolio, and verified teaching experience if applicable.
How to apply: submit via Aarhus University’s recruitment system through the official job advertisement. Shortlisting will be used, and applicants will be informed about the assessment process.
